Canoe Big Blue outing
Our third annual "Canoe Big Blue" day was held on June 26, 2010. We had a gusher the previous
Tuesday but this day we had clear skies and a perfect water level. The 50 boaters needed help
to get by 3 trees that fell completely across the river channel. Canoe Country delivered the boats
again this year! Many of our boaters were first timers again and some literally took the
plunge (all of the Matthews family, don't tell anyone). All seemed to enjoy the chance to see the
river up close and experience nature first hand on the 51/2 mile trip from CR 125W to CR 600S. Please
