Isn't it just today we splish and splash in the cool, refreshing waters on a hot summers' day?

Isn't it just today we return to our spot to find the river bank plush with spice bush and burr oak?

Isn't it just today we splish and splash and find our very first live mussel since we were kids?

Isn't it just today we fish with our grandson and catch twenty small mouth bass in and hour?

Isn't it just today we hear the call of the wild turkey and see the coyote and deer too?

Isn't it just today we watch the kayakers enjoying the beauty of their river?

Isn't it just today we see the kingfishers, wood ducks, pileated woodpeckers, fly fishermen and canoeists all enjoying?

Isn't it just today we are restoring and protecting the Big Blue for all to share?

Isn't it just today we are renewing this river of our dreams and we can play there once again--TODAY?
